Description of the activities of the centre

Currently:
• We are elaborating a training programme for local residents interested in developing private businesses in the sphere of tourism and the tour guide profession
• We are developing advertisement materials to popularise the natural and historical wealth in the region in accordance with the tourism markets in Bulgaria and abroad.
• We work with local children in environmental education activities emphasising the importance of their participation in conserving the local environment.
The Tourism Information Centre “White River” offers information concerning:
• Non- profit organisations working towards the conservation of nature.
• Organisations from outside the municipality who are currently working in the region for the development of tourism and conservation of the environment
• Еxtracurricular activities with children concerning the conservation of the natural environment
• Information for natural, cultural , and historical sites in the region
• Information for hotels, eating and transportation in the region
• We are able to organise local hikes and tours for you in wild nature, cultural and historical sites (with previous arrangements)

Tourist Information Centre - Kalofer
Description of the activities of the centre and of the services it provides

The Centre provides nature protection and tourism information, offers to the visitors local craft exhibits and artwork, training and educational programs, art and documental expositions, and video-film projections. Here one can make reservations for visiting natural attractions the Park offers, as well as for the tourism attractions in the town, and of course for accommodation. The Central Balkan NPD Kalofer Section office is also located in the building of the Centre.

Tourist And Nature Information Centre - Karlovo
The Center provides information about:

TCIC-Karlovo offers a diversity of maps, brochures, and books; souvenirs and products from local craftspeople, post cards, envelopes, and stamps. Here one can find information on the possibilities for nature, village, cultural, spa, and other forms of sustainable tourism. The centre offers also guides, specialised tours, excursions and other guided tours across the Central Balkan Mountains. It offers a wide variety of services for teachers, students, and nature lovers such as: nature protection lectures and talks, interactive exhibits, training sessions, a rich library and video library, assistance for the organisation of green schools and summer camps. The centre also provides a complete variety of office services - Internet, assistance with organising of seminars and conferences, etc.

Tourist Information Centre – Koprivshtitsa
Description of the activities of the centre and of the services it provides

The Centre has information about:
hotels and restaurants, museums and cultural monuments, transport, hiking trails, itineraries in the mountains and cultural events. It also provides reservation services and offers local souvenirs and crafts, leaflets, maps and catalogues.

Tourist and Information Centre - Mogilitsa
Description of the activity and services of the Centre

The organisation has been registered in 2001 as an NGO “Local Centre for Tourism” - village of Mogilitza, which serves the border area south of Smolyan, covering a territory of 270 square kilometers around the villages of Smillian, Mogilitza, Arda, Sivino, Kiselchevo, etc. Thanks to a PHARE PROGRAME, in 2002 the Centre has implemented a project during which mountain guides and tourist agents were trained. There are 10 tourist routes built so far. They cover protected areas and caves, cultural and historical monuments, ancient Thracian sanctuaries, and a number of natural landmarks. The Centre organises motivation and training seminars for the local community under various programmes. It develops projects and works in partnership with organisations developing ideas for alternative forms of income for the local society.

OFFERS:
Information and booking of village houses. Ensures mountain guides for the tourist routes. Equipment for cave tourism. Observing of rare flora and fauna species. Climbing. Horse riding. Mountain biking. Tourist packages. Insurances.

ORGANISES:
Rhodopean CHEVERME in the open; Picnic – trout cooked on a tile and other delicacies. Groups for photo-excursion and hunting.

Tourist Information Centre - Sapareva Banya
Description of the activities of the centre and of the services it provides

The Centre provides information on accommodation and can assist with reservations for local hotels and chalets. We also organise excursions in the Rila Mountains and trips (including transportation) for groups travelling from Sofia to Sapareva Banya, Dupnitsa and other destinations in the region. We can show you the way to spots for souvenirs, post cards, tourist maps and other valuable information in English about places to visit in Bulgaria.
