The service was put on the market at the close of 1993 with Mobifon currently having over 196,000 subscribers countrywide. The network covers more than 95% of Bulgaria’s territory, all big cities and towns, roads and resorts. Along with this, Mobifon subscribers are provided the opportunity to use their mobile phones in Denmark, Norway, Belarus, Russia and Sweden.
